Charleston Design Center is a full service interior design studio located in Charleston South Carolina.
The company offers a range of services in the areas of residential, commercial, and office design. Projects range from small color consultations, to renovations and large dwelling refurbishments. With each and every project, the lifestyle, budget and desires of the client are carefully taken into consideration. The studio constantly maintains high professional standards while working with builders, architects and homeowners.
We always strive to create unique living and working environments that reflect each client's individual style and personal needs, no matter how large or small the project. Whether it's working with existing spaces, renovations, or new home construction, we always work on creating a look that is comfortable and inviting to come home to. We have the ability and knowledge to take any size project beyond simple decorating. From consulting on furniture to complete makeovers we work to provide creative ideas and concepts that bring out the individuality in everyone.
The design studio is owned and operated by Joyce Cerato, a native Charlestonian, who has bee involved in various aspects of design throughout the southeast for over twenty years. She has participated in several Charleston Symphony Orchestra League ASID symphony designer show houses, and has been featured on HGTV's Designer's Challenge. Her work has been published in several national and local magazines. She has been a contributor of interior design articles to local magazines and newspapers, and has taught classes on design.
An established and respected design practitioner, Joyce has received recognition for her design work, which covers a diverse range of styles, encompassing private residences, hotels and historical restorations. She holds a BFA in Interior Design and is presently an allied member of The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), where she has actively served on several committees. |
